The new footbed and outsole design has been created with improved flexibility and traction for comfort. The upper design is slotted into the footbed, providing a better hold that will ultimately mold to your foot, creating your own exclusive and personal pair. We also redesigned the toe post for a more natural and comfortable fit.

Our signature Jacks Flat Sandal but with a larger width – the design that put us on the map in the early 1960’s. Adored for more than 60 years, our iconic sandal has evolved for the 21st century with all the features and benefits of the classic but now with an obsessive attention to fit, comfort, materials and details. Construction: We built more flexibility into the construction for an extra comfortable walking experience and added a textured detail to the outsole for improved traction.

    So Disappointed

    I had really high hopes that the cushioned version of these sandals would allow for hours of comfortable wear. Sadly, the cushioning makes a horrible "squishing" and "air" noise with every step you take. I walked around my kitchen for 10 minutes hoping I could "break them in". That didn't work. I tried the next day, just in case. Still noisy with every step. It's not feasible to wear these out in public. I expect far more for a pair of sandals that costs nearly $150.

    Disappointed

    Was really hoping to love these but didn't - they were not super true to size/ran big width wise compared to the original sandals. Felt more slippery & The padding releases air every time you walk to you hear a whoosh. Keeping them hoping after being worn more/broken in then could help - TBD!

    Very cute

    These are very cute, the perfect marriage of a Birkenstock and a classic JR sandal. My feet do make squishy noises when I walk, which is why I knocked off one star.!

    I want to love these jacks. The width is perfect but the leather sandal upper is so big that they do not stay on my feet.
